Guidelines
for workshops:
- Program
must meet state licensing requirements to qualify. Enclose documentation.
- Two
staff must be members of BCAEYC for a minimum or 90 days.
- Training
must be free to all BCAEYC members.
- Non-members
may be charged a nominal fee which is to be returned to BCAEYC
within 30 days of the session.
- Training
documentation (attendance and evaluation forms) must be returned
to BCAEYC within 30 days of the session.
- A
portion of your copying and postage can be requested in the grant
application.
- Refreshments
are the responsibility of the hosting center.
- Address
labels are available from BCAEYC for $15. This charge can be
reimbursed.
- The
application must be submitted at least one month prior to the
training.
- There
must be two specific methods of informing BCAEYC members of the
training. Example; BCAEYC newsletters, website or flyers.
- Training
funds will be sent to the center following receipt of documentation.
Maximum
request can be no more than $300.

Graduate, undergraduate and CDA general requirements:
- Be
a member of BCAEYC for 90 days prior to application
- Be
employed for one year in an early childhood center or home
- Be
employed a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Course
requirements:
- Applicant
must complete a BCAEYC application
- A
grade of A or B must be received for the course
- It
must be an Early Childhood course
- Course
description or syllabus
- Proof
of payment must be submitted from the college.
- Are
you eligible for any other reimbursement?
- Reimbursement:
Graduate and undergraduate courses, 50% of the total cost to
a maximum of $300 per year, per individual
- CDA-
$100.00 upon submission of documentation of completed final CDA
assessment (the certificate)

BCAEYC
ACCREDITATION GRANT REQUIREMENTS
Guidelines
for accreditation grants:
-
Program must meet accreditation licensing requirements to qualify.
Enclose documentation.
- All
staff must be members of BCAEYC for a minimum of 30 days prior to
the grant award. Enclose documentation.
- The
grant application must be submitted to BCAEYC by May 1 for consideration
during the calendar year.
- Grant
awards will be sent to programs who have applied and completed required
documentation including documentation that the appropriate fee for
which a grant is requested has been paid to NAEYC. Payment documentation
is required within 30 days of payment.
- Grant
awards will vary from year to year dependent upon the funds available
and the number/amounts of the grant applications.
